Our birds came from a breeder in AZ, sorry I do not remember his name. They are nice, but, they lay medium sized eggs and I am trying to get some of the "orange" out. Lacing is decent.

Love the decorations! I need to build Wood and Mandarin Duck nest boxes, a sign to put on the mailbox for when I have eggs and this brooder! How am I going to get that done when I have to work? Ugh. Better just start and work a little at a time. I do have vacation next week!

I am hoping they get bigger, right now they are medium size. I am used to the xl - jumbo Australorp size. Even if they do not get bigger they are really starting to lay. Yesterday we got 6/8 hens. I am going to start a hatch in February to check fertility.

I have 25 Partridge coming this week. I'll take some pics as soon as they arrive. EXCITED! We had a cold winter this year and after having some combs get frostbite with -25+* I need them.
