Whoever says auctions are bad is wrong. yes i try to stay local but you meet amazing people at auctions, and some awesome and rare birds are there. I was at Lebanon valley auction and got a African goose, golden neck Belgian d'uccle (2 trios) and 10 Indian Runner ducks (2 drake penciled 1 hen)...- LehighCounty4-H

you got a roo for sure..if you see the difference in the color of his comb and wattles he is much brighter red than the other ones- LehighCounty4-H

go to local breeders or try to find people on here. do not go to tractor supply yes you will get birds but you will get mixed breeds or the wrong breeds..this year they had mixed breeds and no selection of birds im glad i found a very good breeder to learn from- LehighCounty4-H

she went broody last night and is still on the 2 eggs under her right now and my shamo chick managed to get in the nesting box last night and is under her wing so she has a shamo month old chick and 2 eggs under her atm- LehighCounty4-H

one of my hens went broody and i need advice she is in my main nesting box so i put wire at the entrance to keep others out..but they dont know where to lay there eggs..is it possible to move the hen with out disturbing her broodiness?- LehighCounty4-H
