Depending where you are you could get guinea fowl. They are known to kill rodents and the sound they make drives them away as well. We had a vole problem last year and I would catch them stealing feed and leaving tunnels through the yard. I spilled some on the floor in the garage the other day...- Poetshens

Ever since they went broody they have always been in the same nesting box so I figured they wouldnt mind the same box. They have two Heritage Delaware, three light Sussex, one easter egger and I just slipped two quail eggs under them for fun.- Poetshens

I started a lettuce mix which is doing well... now that I have a light on it... The herbs I started at the same time have yet to show any results along with the beets.....
