we are on the edge and were only to get 2-4" but that blowin wind has made some giant drifts. I have a cedar row on the north side of my house and one coop is south of the house but there is a walkway between the coop and an old garage and it has just blown up through there. I put strawbales...
Is this going to stop I knew we had snow but didn't know about the wind making the giant drifts. there is 6' one in front of the doors to one coop and we can't get to the other coop hopefully one of my neighbors will dig us out tomorrow. Had everything filled to the top so they should be ok

I don't live it town but tried looking up some in KS and NE but I just got confused would it all be under animals and if doesn't say livestock or poultry I assume it is ok and one said something about pet birds.
I drove to Salina today and picke dup my 50 fuzzy butts they are all cheeping happily and I am worn out now just waiting for the ducks to arrive this week
OH the sunshine and no wind (at least for a while) It was so nice to go out and sit with the chickens this afternoon I miss that when it had been so cold and today is the first day I got 5 eggs out of 5 hens so I guess my sumatra girl has finally started laying
