It's a torrential downpour here. Comes and goes in blasts. I am hoping that we can postpone this to a later date if it's going to be raining like this. When I'm home, no big deal, but away with birds doesn't sound like much fun. Curse the rain.
I have to go out shortly and try to cover birds...
I know what you mean, I don't have any covered cages for the birds for display. Only have my car, having wet cages/birds in my car would really make the DH have a cow.
Was just watching a weather report and it states this area could be getting 4-6 inches of rain locally when the system stalls. That's gonna be a soggy deal if that happens!
They even canceled our town Christmas parade Friday night. And the worst part is I hadn't even heard about this until...

Show transport coops? Do you have a picture of what your looking for? KellyHM gave me an idea of building something that sounds similar to what your looking for.
I do, if I can find it on the hard drive. I'll get back to you on that.

Items 1, 6 (one pair left), 8, & 11 are sold. Chicks are likely gone with someone picking some up and Annika taking the rest, unless more hatch out.
They're from me.I decided to hatch some out when I needed filler for my incubator.
Does anyone attending make show transport coops that'll be bringing some to sell, or take orders for? I'm looking for brahma bantam size, call duck size, and modern game size boxes.
I've got some newly hatched pure RIR chicks that'll be a week old by swap day. $2.00 each as a straight run presale only or I won't bring them because I don't have a travel brooder. I'm on my blackberry so will edit my available list when I can get back to the computer.
OK, here's what I'm going to bring IF ANYONE WANTS THEM. If not, they'll probably stay home.
1) Serama pullet, pet quality. $10.00
2) Modena cock bird $15.00
3) Cockerel, 1/2 grown, cross between an Australorp & a RIR/JBG. Black bird with red on him. $8.00
4) Pullet, a BLRW bantam X Columbian...

It is probably wanting it to be a smaller FILE SIZE. Try saving the file as a .gif or .jpg...not a .bmp as it is usually higher quality and so that means larger file.

P.S. In case you fair feathered friends didn't see my post in the "chicken behavior and egglaying" section...

I might be getting in bantam white cochin chicks this week. Not too sure yet. Will have to see if they honor the promo code. Like I really need any more birds! I won't be keeping them all, and will bring extras if there's any available.
Oh, and what are we to bring, other than cages/birds to...

That was probably Mike Schmidt. He's on the east coast, Jensen Beach, FL. These black jap pullets were from his barred project from something else. I bought a group of birds from him, but won't be needing the jap girls. We don't keep japanese. If you want Mike's contact information, PM...
I'll have seramas available. Two pairs of chocolate based smooth feathered, two pairs of silkieds, along with one pet quality pullet.
Also will have 4-6 Black Japanese pullets available if anyone is interested.
I started up my incubator again, I wasn't going to but the seramas and araucanas are starting to lay again now. I actually got two prepped but only one survived thanks to the neighbor's dog coming over and destroying it as it was air drying on the patio, but that's another story in itself. So...
