Holy COW!!! That's amazing. I think you may have a run on orders for your lavs, purely based on egg color alone!
That egg reminds me of the eggs my friend's cousin used to get from...
I have a question regarding price. I'm considering selling a couple of my splash girls so I can hatch out more blues and blacks (need to make room). These are really nice girls from PipsnPeeps eggs. I easily sold the extra roos for $15 each. What should I charge for the hens?
Unless you take the photo yourself, it's not yours, period!! She should have asked permission to use the photo first. How does a person not get that that is stealing? Geez.
Just want to thank you all for your help in choosing a roo; sold the first boy today to a guy who was very excited to get him. The only roos I've ever been able to actually SELL, have been from Jeans stock.
pips&peeps :
I agree #1 has a better comb, but everything about #2 is better.
He has a pea comb, it's just a little fat in the middle. I've shown birds with way worse combs and they have ended up on Champion row.....
Work on the eye color in the next generation though, it's a bit light...
Aw, thanks! But if you HAD to choose? Which would you keep?
(incidentally, I was HORRIFIED to find a lone louse on a red sex-link today--GASP! Break out the Sevin dust!!!!! )
rb thanks for your input--you made some valid points.
Anyone else? Illia? Jean? Mahonri? SteveH? Jeremy? Halo...
Ameraucana experts, please help me decide which roo to keep. Both are 9 month old splash roos from eggs I bought from Jean Ribbeck. Comments welcome
Roo # 1 (I think the girls are plucking his beard; it's looking a bit sparse )
Roo # 2
