This must be one of those foreign gene things I have a half blue ameraucana, half cream brabanter. he is Blue with yellowy cream lacing and golden blond hackle feathers. In all practicality, I should cull him, but he is sooooo pretty

I use Blu Kote on injuries like that. Could have been something tried to snag him, could be he got himself tangled in something. Doesn't look too deep. A little BK a little papmering, he should be fine.
