Thank you for this. I have a salmon hen paired with a blue salmon male and was not sure if she was blue or black. So far I have hatched 5 salmon girls, 5 black roos and 2 blue roos from her eggs. I know that is a small sample, but I can probably assume she is black, given the lack of splash...
