Do you guys find that your Duccles are Territorial? My three are ganging up on my dutch hen I just moved in with them. The dutch lived on the 'other side of the fence' since nonmember but they still torment her and chase her around. They should settle down right?
So what do you guys think is going on in this picture (see below)? Are they just drinking and then going over to eat and its gunking up on their beard?
Holy Crow, anyone looking to add some new blood to their lines???
Check these guys out: http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Mille-Fleur-Duccle-Eggs-/270717074365?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f07febbbd
Edit: Opsies, I didn't realize the ebay seller is a byc member, let's play the guessing game!

Are you looking to show or just have for fun? Right now mine are in a Coop with lots of shavings but their foot feathering is still getting eaten. lol. Cages pretty much destroy their feet.

Well basically its where you have a flock of hens and a bunch of males, anywhere from 2-100 and every week or two you change males, it helps create genetic diversity when trying to start up.
BUT
I have decided to not do duccles any more, I just have gotten frustrated with the breed...
I don't think I've ever heard of the hound dog system...
