You mean you'd get some golden neck chicks and some mille fleur, or do you mean that the chicks would all have some golden neck characteristics and some mille fleur characteristics?
I'm just curious because I've only ever had mille fleurs, but I now have some golden necks, and I just wondered...
I have a question about the mille fleur coloring. I've noticed on my almost-6-week-old milles that the cockerels are getting some white-tipped feathers, while most of the pullets have none or only a couple, or a few at most. I think there is one cockerel that doesn't have any, or only has a...
Question for the the D'uccle breeders: If D'uccle chicks have fuzz on their middle toes, does that definitely mean they will have feathers there later on?
So it's not outside the realm of possibility that these are all MF, then?

The chick pictures are down near the bottom. There is a picture of one labeled MF that is every bit as dark as my dark chick, so I...
I know, they are just darling, aren't they? Those puffy little cheeks!
I'm pretty sure her birds are all mille fleurs, so unless MF/MF can produce other colors besides MF, these would all have to be MF, right? I am so not a color geneticist! I did wonder about blue MF with the darker greyish...

These are the first D'uccles I have had, so I'm wondering about the color differences in the chicks. Some of them are gold-colored with black/greyish chipmunky-looking markings, some are kind of...
Ooh! Baby D'uccles hatched specially for me!! I'm getting them tomorrow... thank you, SIMZ!
BTW, very very nice lady to work with, so if anyone is thinking of getting hatching eggs from her, go for it!
