    Yes, they have to be NPIP and AI tested. I will be working on getting my NPIP/AI this spring. In Ohio it is all part of the NPIP testing.

    Sorry to say but your chick is blind. See the cloudy spot in the eye? It looks a lot like a cataract. One of my Silver Appleyards hatched that way this past spring.

    Number one has better color and better feet, but number 2 has better wattles. Keep them both for a while and see how they look in a few months, but if that isn't an option, keep number one.     I like the thick neck and the feet on the first roo the best. He will probably get more white as he ages, but his wattles are bigger too. Personally, I like him the best, but I'm no judge either.

    Thanks, Nate! I am not interested in showing my birds, I just love being able to have some of them! They are my absolute favorite birds! Mr. Bo is a true gentleman and never aggressive.
