D'uccle Thread

It was a blast. How are your babies doing. I just hatched out 2 more Black Mottled. I have just rearranged the breeding coop. Now I can't wait until I get eggs. Thank you for the congrats. Michele

I would post that in the emergencies thread for the best and quickest answers.

3) I didn't ask about citron because I was more curious about mahogany mille fleur. I should have some of those as well as some brown reds in the spring. I have everything I need onsite already, and will only use d'Uccles to create them. Science Project, here I come!!!!! I think I may have a mahogany cockeral already....

Those are beautiful too!

My daughters hatched a few Millie d'uccle back in Aug for 4-H and we are new to the breed so I was wondering if we could get a little input on our little cockerels. We are trying to figure out which is the best one to keep. If I counted right they both have 5 points on their comb. They are almost 3 months old. Thanks & yes the pictures are over the top lol I am a photographer

Number one has better color and better feet, but number 2 has better wattles. Keep them both for a while and see how they look in a few months, but if that isn't an option, keep number one. That is my opinion, anyway!
Great pictures-can you come to my house next?

ETA: actually, the second roo might have better feet too.
