Porcelain d'Uccles?

I lost my showbird (OEGB) to a hawk and so I have to get a new one. I was thinking about borrowing one of my friend's birds, a buff-laced Sebright, but the opportunity to get a procelain d'Uccle came up and I'm not sure which would be better. The d'Uccle is fully grown whereas the cockerel I might buy is around 16 weeks of age. The fair is in less than 3 months so I was wondering what you guys thought would be the best choice? Has anyone here had experience with any of these breeds, and if so, what did you think about them?

I have a mille fleur d'Uccle that's 2 months old. She's by far the friendliest bird in the bunch and velcros onto my hand whenever I'm in the run. Honestly, she'll velcro onto anyone, even the occasional visitor. Really gentle as well. Kind of a drama queen if I need to pick her up for health inspections (which I'm guessing is comparable to show handling), but at least she's small. Seems to handle the cold and heat swings well. I like that her legs aren't quite as feathered as the pekin bantams, so she stays cleaner. Loves to jump and fly without being "flighty". Keeps herself busy in the run (we don't free-range) and gets along great with her bigger pekin sisters. Even as the smallest chick, she never let herself get pushed around. If we were to free-range, she would probably survive the best because of her flight abilities. And the upright tail makes her look like a roadrunner when she scuttles around... not really relevant, but it's pretty cute.

All this to say I really, really enjoy my d'Uccle!
