    Hi EE'ers! We have 11 in our flock and 4 are roosters. Just not a good roo to hen ratio. They are just starting to pick on the girls. They are all about 20 weeks old we think. We got them at around 2-3 weeks (we were told) So My question is how would you go about choosing which rooster to keep...

    Love those feet! Our roosters started crowing at 3:47 this morning. Often and Loud. We only have one neighbor that can hear them and he just thinks it's comical that they don't quite have it down pat yet.

    yes, he is a boy :) I was just posting some pictures of the ones that would let me take them today. They are all at least 4 - 4 1/2 months old. So, you can tell by the girl's combs that they are ready to lay soon? I have so much to learn!

    Hi! I'm new to BYC and so glad to have found this thread. I love my EEs. They are such pretty chickens and all of them look different. I love the variety. We found our first egg yesterday. It was half buried in the dirt. Not sure if it's a chicken or duck egg as they are all the same age...
