Hi all, my araucana hen became broody today, and I was wondering if she will be a good broody hen? We don't have a rooster, or hatching eggs, so I am just wondering if she will stay like that for a while, or will she stop being broody quickly. Thanks!

Could any of you post a few pics of your full grown araucanas, I have two and they both lay but I was wondering if they are full grown?? And boy is one of my little araucana girl a tough one! She has been attacked by a hawk and a dog, and she came out of both with only a few lost feathers...

Thanks Lanae! I love her too! And beausonge yes their plumage is very full! The tailed bird started out very awkward as a chick but now that shes grown up she is just beautiful!

I'm loving my 2 lavender araucana pullets!!! They have gotten friendlier as they have grown up, and I couldn't imagine my flock without them! They are about 25 weeks old now!
