I'd be very happy to sell some of my cockerels (9 weeks) I have 6 of them and they are all healthy and happy. One note I might add is when they discover the run in the coop the roosters have to squabble for a few hours to a few days to establish a pecking order. I'll have plenty of hatching eggs...

they are my own breed I had made by a professional breeder...they are white but lay jumbo brown eggs 6-7 times a week from Easter to Halloween (or depending on temp) and thank you for the compliment.

Anybody near the shoals need a cockerel or two? They are 8 weeks old and ready to go to coop. those are all the chicks together as of last week. here is an adult. They are my own breed for those who don't know already. You can look at my profile and read my post "my own breed"

I buy industrial size bags of oyster shell and they last for months. I'd say per bird give 1 pound of shell (roosters included) per week-two weeks but at the moment a 50 lb bag lasts me a little less than 5 months with my adult birds. It will be reduced when I move in my chicks.

It is very cool but you have to get the timing just right and the end result is one regular and one mega egg haha
