I am new to this thread, but I'm excited and hubby doesn't want to listen to me gushing about birds... I have six breeder quality Silkies coming from Hat Trick Silkies. I got lucky enough to catch her sale right at the right time and am so thrilled to get birds that I can actually win some shows...
Hi everyone, I don't post a lot, but I wanted to share pics of my beautiful Paint Silkies. Hubby bought them for my birthday- two are Showgirls, which is even more exciting for me! I love them to death, such a cool color! Some are much spottier than others.
And then there are the others I...
Ok, color experts. This is a one day old chick that hatched out of an egg from my blue Sizzle hen. I saw her lay it, so I know it was her! The roo was one of two white roos. The egg was laid the night I got her home from the breeder, but I know the only roo's in that pen are white. The baby is...

The breeder I got Thor...
I thought I would share some of my babies- we're so in love with the breed! Here is Thor, my white roo. He takes such good care of the younger poofballs, he is very attentive and always on patrol. Here he is with four of "his" flock, free ranging in the back yard.
And being mauled by my four...
Can I join all you Silkie lovers? I have my first ever silkies, and I cannot get over the cute! I know mine are probably terrible quality (they came from Cackle), but they'll be pets and possibly therapy animals if they have the personality for it. I got white, blue, and splash, and ended up...
