Peep... Didnt use a flash, felt it washed them out so i used natural light... Could the buffs be porcelian? The eggs were silkie/showgirl eggs all pure silkies kept in the pins... the colors that could possible hatch were listed ( black, blue, buff, white, porcelian, isbella, lavender...

EEK i found 2 silkie eggs one in the nest box and another in one of the chicken houses which can only mean that one of my silkies laid her 1st egg today... on her 5 month birthday... its such a shame that i don't know which one i'm gonna have to watch from a far tomorrow to see who goes inside...

some of our little fluffy butts from our very 1st hatch.... so far 3 showgirls and 5 silkies out of 12 eggs that went into lock down... originally had 14 but one was cracked and another never developed and then i had 2 iffys that i kept cause i wasnt sure....

Got another hatch! Little silkie with a vaulted skull looks buff, but still very very wet... Eekk as nerve wrecking as hatching eggs is its soooo much fun.... My niece and my daughter were in aww watching them hatch. 8 more eggs to go.

Just had 1 i think is white maybe porcelian silkie and one black showgirl hatch! 3 out of 12 hatched so far. 2 pips! And movement in the others.:D pics as soon as they fluff up.
