Silkie thread!

This one will be 14 weeks Saturday. The other white I got at the same time is.diffently a boy; large walnut comb and.waddles; and he was having a crowing contest with my 9week old splash. This one has a smaller body type compared to the other. Does chest bump with the white boy but does not with the other 2 boys; just the one she has been with since birth.

You're really in the best position to know but I have not seen any of my girls chest bump at that age and I spend a lot of time watching. But, I have heard of girls that do.

Well guys, the obsession continues! I picked up 14 Silkie eggs today, 6 white, 5 porcelain and 3 b/b/s! Is anyone one else setting eggs today? I want a hatching buddy!!!

So at 3days old my chicks have started to change already... Looking at pictures tons of them the two i thought cold be buffs, i can say they are porcelian, look alot like the ones in this thread....

Okay this maybe a really dumb question but in still rather new at all the colors, is there a difference bewteen poreclian and isabella? Or are they one in the same....sorry for my stupidity :/

I set this past Sunday. I have 25 Silkies (paint,lav-porcelain split, black-lavendar split,calico which some could come out showgirl). Also have 15bantam polish set

Oh how you tempt me. Waaa, I want more silkie babies!

I just started making subtle hints to my DH about wanting to hatch more silkies, so I might be incubating as early as next week. (I'm still working on DH, if you know what I mean.)

In silkies, they are the same. Not necessarily true in other breeds.

In silkies, they are the same. No necessarily true in other breeds.

Thanks im trying to figure out the one i thought was white has a little taupe light blue brown speckles on its back... So im ruling out white.... But no clue :/
