Thanks! Hens and Roos are all together - so this batch was like a box of chocolates....not sure what you are going to get! I JUST got the last batch sold off. I wait until they are feathered out and don't need heat lamp and are independent (but pre "sexing"), and the last of my extra roos...
Here some pictures! I had one hen hatch 4, and two hens hatched 12 together in another box! They are 2 days old! These are babies from my Catdance girls and boys I hatched last spring!
Beautiful! I hatched 18 catdance silkies last spring - they hatch a whole bunch of their own babies yesterday and they are beautiful too! Enjoy them!!!

Thanks! You are so right on the accepting different chicks though! I put some Easter Egger eggs under some broody silkies with some silkie eggs last month, and when they hatched the momma silkie rejected the EE babies! Fortunately I had a standard hen that had gone broody a couple of days...
I have a standard EE hen that just went broody. Can I put some silkie eggs under her as I don't have any broody silkies right now? (shocker I know....give 'em 10 minutes.....).
Wish you were closer! I am being overrun by Catdance roos I hatched out this last spring! I found a home for a buff boy today - and I can't believe how hard it was to let him go! I am so attached to those fuzzballs! But...alas, 11 boys is WAY too many, and he went to a really nice guy!
