if she is breeding blue to blue then black is a possible color.

Can a paint and a dark blue make a black?

Another color question I have a hen who I'm not sure of her color. She is not black and she is not blue either. she is like in between black and blue, but with a brownish hue to it. just slightly brown tint to it. I'm sure I have a picture around here somewhere!

People have told me blue before, but now that I have 2 other blues, she doesn't look blue at all!

I have a standard EE hen that just went broody. Can I put some silkie eggs under her as I don't have any broody silkies right now? (shocker I know....give 'em 10 minutes.....).

Black and Blue feathers will sun burn and turn brown. Blue is a wide range of colors, all the way from almost black to very light Blue. I would say your girl is blue with sunburn.
