but if you want just mixed color birds, you can always pair blacks with your whites. No telling what is hidden by the white color. As explained in earlier posts, white is an OFF switch and hides patterns and other colors...
any way to just get multi colored chicks and adults out of just a pairing of silkies, or do they need multiple "suiters"? im wanting to maybe get a silkie roo in future for what think all three hens (ill get one egg one day, and two the next), or just sell and get one of another color, but...

Yeap...here is one but she is a F1 chick so it will be awhile until my showgirls look like showgirls but I do love that little one. I can't wait to see what color and how she or he feathers out...

torrelee, i think theyre purty, even if not true silkies, they are silkie light! so look on the bright side, maybe theyll be really hardy, prolific and broody for you.
