This morning we had some crazy lighting but it was nothing compared to last weeks weather, we had 2 trees fall down and lost power for 4 hours. I kept going in and checking my chicks and ducks saying please stay warm!!!
everyone is fine though!!

If I was in that situation, I would just lock them in their coop. We are more in the center near Ocala, so we probably wouldn't get hit like you would down there. I will probably bring in my bantams though and put them in a dog crate. I only have 3 of those.

check with freckle face farm. I don't know how close she is too you, but she does have connections and may be able to locate a source closer to you if she is too far away.
I'm going on vacation in July in St. Augustine and live pretty close to F.Freckles I might be able to meet you...
I can't wait to move my little chicks outside. My husband has been slacking with putting up my post but we are more than half way there. I keep reminding him as soon as it's up I can move them out with a light on in the shed at night.

Yes it's you!!! I just found a home for the 2 roos, but I will keep you in mind for sure. I can't ask for any more than what you state here. I have to face it, how many roos can be pets? It's more realistic and practical but sad , but they will be happy right up to the end.
Well...
Morning,
Does anyone need any red production or possibly RIR cocks.. They were my packing peanuts and yes they are wearing green for St. Pattys Day , I would love to trade for freshly hatched BO, BR, Roosters...
let me know if interested, I am located just 30 mins south of Ocala and will be...
Ocala is a nice little big city to live but if you are looking for more smallish town feel, I recommend the county south of it, Citrus County... I have lived there all my life. Great small town, CFCC has a branch in lecanto for college students and I actually attend there.
