Okay, I weird but for whatever reason you got me going.

Can't you all hear it now, "Uh, yes, um, my name is deb."

"Hi, Deb"

"Oh, yeah well, I just LOVE ALL those fuffy butts! Yes, I am a Chicken addict, suffering from 3rd degree Chicken math."

Morning,

Does anyone need any red production or possibly RIR cocks.. They were my packing peanuts and yes they are wearing green for St. Pattys Day , I would love to trade for freshly hatched BO, BR, Roosters...

let me know if interested, I am located just 30 mins south of Ocala and will be attending the swap April 2nd

Just poking my head in to say hi and introduce myself. I'm in Lakeland and will be going to the swap on the 26th on the south side of town. I have two RIR chicks and plan to get at least two more chickies. In the past I've had geese and ducks but never chickens. I don't know why, they're certainly easier since they don't need a swimming pool.

Yes, you can but you have to clean the pool pretty much daily. It's shocking how quickly they'll foul it up. They'd prefer a pond I'm sure. But the geese can't actually swim in a kiddie pool but they can get all wet and flap about. Geese spend a lot of time grazing. At least mine did. I think they'd be okay with no pool at all, just drinking water and a sprinkler to play in but I haven't studied up on that.

Interesting

I have well water so I'm not concerned about having a pool to fill up.. I have three Muscovy eggs that I am hatching but I was just going to give the babies to my Mother in Law

hmmmmmm....

I have kiddie pools everywhere all sizes. Thats all Ive used for years for ducks. Dump about every 4 days. True they only need drinkin water but they breed better, preen better and every time you change the water its a freakin free for all of them. Thats what i like. Its hilarious.
