I feel your pain. We lost our ducks and a lot of chickens to coyotes and a bobcat. We also get bear, fox, raccoons, etc. It's much different than NH that's for sure.
I may just take you up on that. Thanks! I have some French Black Copper Maran eggs in the bator right now. They are the first ones I've had mailed. Fingers crossed. (I think that's fingers crossed?? lol)
Carrabelle...in the Panhandle. So far so good. I don't worry about the others, but this guy is all alone and the fact that he's a frizzle/sizzle. We had birds in NH and it was freezing all the time during winter there. Had no frizzles though.

:frow I'm going to guess you guys don't have to worry about your chickens getting cold down there? :D When I woke up this morning it was only 26. I have a new frizzle that I think is actually a sizzle and I was so worried about him.
