Rain rain rain quack here in Tampa. I don't mind it, my speckled sussex hates it though, youd think the clouds were raining down acid the way she carries on. She's cute though, so I got no problem escorting her to the coop when it starts sprinkling

she's my baby and I think she knows it!

Record amounts of rain over here in Brevard County. I'm beginning to look for a canoe or kayak to out to my coop. The human door is on the "low" side of the yard and it has a big 2" deep puddle in front of it.

Welp, I'm on one of the highest ridges in Brevard county ... takes a whole lot more rain that this to flood us ... does anyone remember TS Fran? Yeah ... that was the last time we flooded.

But aside from that, I have the chicken blues ... I'm still waiting for my chicks to arrive - not being shipped until the middle of February ... so sad!
