    u buy a candling tool... generally a torch like thing with a nossle to suit the size of egg... you should candle throughout the prcoess beginning on day 8 until around 4 days before hatching... this helps you to guestimate what the humidity needs to be and take out any dead embryos so as not...

    well my cousin is over... is obsessed with my ducklings and chickens... who wouldn't love them... but she keeps asking me when they are going for a swim in the pond... if she can get them out of their brooding box every 5 minutes... holding them all the time... and i get told off by my auntie...

    thats whats happening in my hen house so iv had to pin a towel over babs whos broody... the chickens have apparently taken eggs outta the house... pecked them open and eaten them... not good news

    all ducklings are out... sleeping under my brooder lamp... i refuse to keep them locked up in an incubator all claustrophobic... sleeping atm... healthy... chirpy... funny little things but very cuddly... woke up to a little yellow sticky one this morning... was like awww uploading pics now

    1 duckling left... 3 out... believe one is fawn and white... one is probably chocolate... one white and the last one has its beak out of the shell... thought it was struggling so i widened the hole a bit... do not want to help it out totally so it is just resting... should be hatched sometime...
