So... my ducklings continue to surprise me... Massive after just over a week! Is it possible at this stage for a ducklings tail to be turning upwards like a males would... cannot write it correctly but three of the four were carrying their tails parallel to the ground and one was standing...

all ducklings are out... sleeping under my brooder lamp... i refuse to keep them locked up in an incubator all claustrophobic... sleeping atm... healthy... chirpy... funny little things but very cuddly... woke up to a little yellow sticky one this morning... was like awww uploading pics now

1 duckling left... 3 out... believe one is fawn and white... one is probably chocolate... one white and the last one has its beak out of the shell... thought it was struggling so i widened the hole a bit... do not want to help it out totally so it is just resting... should be hatched sometime...

ahh thanks... i will get them grit anyway on monday or tomorrow if it is open just to be safe...

will they need grit tomorrow when i start to feed them... only hatched today...they will only be getting crumb?

when do ducklings need grit... i bought some oyster shell... i plan on griding it up to make it smaller... will that suffice or will i have to get some regular grit also?

in ducklings... how are the feet supposed to be after hatching? also... there is some... what looks like wastey eggy stuff that was left behind... what is it?
