They are what I call 'Improved Indian Game' I use them to breed Welsh Black Fowl. Very good layers compared with pure Cornish Game and the spare roosters make a very good table bird

I use an Australorp rooster over a Dark Cornish hen. All the chicks come out black and grow away fast. The resulting pullets lay around 200 very good size eggs a year and are first class broodies and good mothers. The rooster dress out around 6lbs at 25 weeks on a grain and free range diet.
