Here's one of my 3 girls... They were the first hens we got. I really enjoy having them around - nice eggs, and great mommies!!

Here's another hen babying chicks that are about 3.5 months old - she stuffed 4 chicks underneath her... Well, she gave it her best shot [IMG] !

I need some help. I didn't post in the emergency cuz I don't have my camera right now.

this is my first time with them and I only have 1 that survied the trip, but you know the smallest toe on the chick? Well mine doesn't have a nail and it looks like a bump on both toes. Is that normal for them? I couldn't tell in the pictures if thier toes looked the same or not.

Thanks everyone, I am kind of worried.

One of the first breeds I started with over 30 years ago. Very nice birds and great layers, though their eggs are kinda light in color. I'll try to get some pics of my ladies that I have on the farm these days.

They are awesome birds! I love my girls, they're my favorite breed! Always lay these huge eggs, and I love their personality!
