Ok, so there is one person on another forum that is saying " Point of interest, Australorps should not have a blue gene in them if they are pure Australorps" i just have to see what you guys/gals think about it? i myself consider them Australorps even if they are not yet in the SOP. But what do...
Yes i have one Australorp cockerel that is too funny. I find my roosters more comer in one line then the hens in that line. Where as my other line the hens are comer then the roosters. Chickens are wired
Will the Splash's are home now. I will go out and try to get a picture. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO small they were a June hatch. Luckly the Blacks i have, are good sized. I am thinking i will keep a Blue Rooster over the Winter to put with the hens, I am happy i have a good sized Blue rooster...

Hi Sam,
As you are in Australia your 'lorps might be slow feathering i am not sure on this one. But i would say at 5-6 months you should be able to tell the difference.
Hi, have not checked in here for a bit, i am planing to get a nice show Q rooster ( black) over my Blue & Splash hens to improve type. i am seeing some curves on the hens, but not where i hoped/ wanted them to be.
