    Duck Pond/pool pictures

The ducks were the ones that stayed in the doghouse. The chickens were in their coop, and yes - they had perches. My silkies use the floor though :)

OMG! Thank you for this! We just filled our duck pond cuz i hated bailing it, but for our kio pond that needs to be drained every so often, this is excellent! I actually resorted to sucking on the end of the hose till water came (yea.. don't ask) I had no idea you could get it to drain this way...

It actually doesn't get as bad as you think. When it's hot and dry out - I just rake crud up and shovel it into a wheel barrow. I only do that once a month. I think because it's exposed to the elements, the rain will wash away a lot of it or the ducks just stamp it into the dirt. When we mow...

Thanks for the quick advice! I'm all for saving money and I believe you guys just helped me do so by not spending it on another filter system that wouldn't work!

This is a picture of our pond, but boy - we are having a hard time keeping it clean! I'm having to bail and refill every weekend - it's about 100 gallons. Even though we originally had it surrounded just by rocks, they drag in every plant scrap they can find into the pond. Algea has started...
