I'm in the US. I just prefer the body type and breeding in other countries as well as the United States. This project is focused on imports though. I'll post new picture of the pullets soon. The males are probably going to be sold.
No problem the offer is always open. I'm also on youtube my channel is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSSsSBy85-NWPQbzT-61brQ/feed although I'm new to posting on there and I don't have all my birds yet but more videos will be coming soon
This is the link to my American Lavender Orpington...
Next month I'll start to sell the eggs from the American rooster on my profile picture if your interested. I haven't shipped eggs before, but for being the first person I would pay for shipping. Plus I'll add 5 extra to the order for a good hatching if you would like to incubate that is.
Thank you :)
I'm completely dedicated to Lavender Orpingtons, and no inbreeding is ever used. Do you own any? They are amazing birds with a very gently temperament including the roosters.
Compare the color to my 100% American Lavender Orpington Rooster to the left if you don't think there Lavender believe me they are. Ignore Chixmix commenting on any of my posts.
Here is a better picture of my lavender lace next to there brother who never developed the pattern. All these birds where bred from foreign imports in the UK and Germany, except Korfis bloodline to add a better body type. A total of 9 different bloodlines where used. These hens developed the...
ha ha adding silver you mean adding in the LAVENDER BECAUSE HE IS NOT LAVENDER. Based on your posts on your profile your an novice chicken breeder so call me when you graduate with a genetic degree. Last time I'm saying this "self blue". Have a great life!
It has a nice body I'll admit but the comb and color are not a good example. So your entire argument is that my birds arent lavender, because of his color. Then that means the same for you. I'm guessing he breeds true so we are on equal playing fields. Unless your admiting that lavender is based...
Okay,Hey, I get it. You wanted to be the first person with lavender orpingtons with lacing. Ha ha you know it!! and my 6 years of works and having it as a college project in AG Genetic Sciences means nothing to you. We had to do specific projects in poultry to graduate and mine took second...
That is complete ignorance. Not to come off rude...Seriously look up the definition of lavender. Lavenders are when the blue color is transferred from one generation to the next with the color staying the same. You are just seeing the dark coloring and you can't get over it. That's what happens...
These are just developing the pattern. There is no adalusian in them. Just selective breeding from some of the best stock of birds in Europe and Germany.
You don't understand lavender. Lavender is a "self blue" meaning you breed two lavenders and you get lavender. Lavender has different shades ranging from blue to a light grey. It's not blue because I've bred the parents which came out 100% lavender. If it Blue X Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Splash, 25%...
So excited to finally share this with Backyard Chickens!I've found and developed the first offspring of Laced Lavender Orpingtons. If anyone else has seen this color pattern let me know, but I've been working hard to find anything like this. This are 100% Lavender from a English Bloodline.
