Nice pictures, Cynthia, and what a pretty girl you have! Mine always laid eggs with a pinkish or peachy tint, and they were always on the smaller size. My two girls I had were also very talkative; something I loved about them. I've got 2 juvies right now, and so far haven't noticed them...

    Speckled Sussex?

Cynthia, I had adults in the past and loved them. They laid pretty well, probably 4-6 eggs a week. I'm raising 2 right now, most likely a cockerel and pullet. Not sure how well these will lay, but hopefully I can tell you around October

    Speckled Sussex?

The peachy-colored egg at 6 O' clock is a SS egg. They tend to be rounded-oval in shape, tinted and medium in size. My SS's laid pretty regularly.
