Although this may be a thread about the specific Polish breed, however, your queston is valid for all breeds. I'd suggest that you're better off posting under "Injuries" to get more appropriate and efficient advice. Good luck...
Interesting, do you mean dust or water bath? I thought chickens are scared of water, is there an age that's safe to bathe them? I'd love to know, bec one of my roos really doesn't smell that pleasant...
It actually does look more like a pullet from its build, but the way its feathers on its head are growing, it has some signs like pullet and some like cockerel. I'd guess it's a pullet though...let's see what others say
Hi everyone, I'm back on the thread! I haven't posted here in a while, but I just got three adorable new chicks last night, so I thought I'd share the pics with everyone. Enjoy!
Thanks all for the help. Just realize every1-I'm completely new at this, so I know nothing whatsoever. The info every1 is giving is extremely helpful for the time being.

Interesting, so my other one which still shows no signs of any redness around the beak, means it's for sure a girl? they are the same age, so if one has the redness, and the other has none, are there any signs one way or another?

Thanks It happens to be that the one that has a "mohawk" style feathers on the head started growing some red around the beak, but not the other one. They're the same age though, so would that be an indication for anything, that one has and one doesnt?
Ok every1, i got pics!!
Anyone that could help on genders (if it's at all possible on these lil guys) would be much appreciated. Eitherway, enjoy the pics!
