I really want EEs but I want the pretty ones, not the solid brown ones with the black hackles... thats what the majority of them are.... I've seen some breeds that caught some of our eyes

They are bantams, we already have bantams in breeder pens, and plan on getting eithr Mille Fleur or Mottled D'uccles, we already have mottled cochins, silkies and OEGB. We are after eggs, the bantams don't lay well during summers and we don't eat their eggs. Quote:

We want pretty and cheap. Right now cheap rides over pretty I wish I could find a BYCer with a bunch of purebred standards that I could get a good mix from.

We are getting back into standards, but just a mixed flock. I am wanting 12 hens. We already have 2 pullets we got from a BYC member today, a Lakevelder and Blue Andalusian (I can't spell them yet) So any opinions? My mom doesn't want a rooster, I do. So we are leaving roos out for the moment...
