No I found with my incubator the humidity would be ALL over the place which I contribute to my completely botched first attempt I also found the less i mess with them the better the results so that's what works for me so I'm going to stick with it lol
Nothing fancy at all just a little giant from tractor supply. It was a disaster my first try I thought I could order some cream leg bar and Swedish flower hen eggs off eBay lol but after a couple attempts with my own eggs and NOT adding water it works great for what I need it for
I am hoping to get one out of the eggs that are in the Bator now. I have one pullet that is your classic Mille coloration she isn't laying age yet which is why I'm considering hatching out some mixes from my two boys until next spring I can hatch out the real thing!
Yes they are! I got lucky just got done checking again all 8 are growing out of 8 I couldn't be happier I had only 1 hatch out from shipped eggs 3 months ago and she needed assistance so I'm really hoping this will make up for my failed attempt before! I got EXTREMELY lucky and was given these...
Oh my son and I were just admiring my Roos tail in the wind simply gorgeous! I think I'm going to just have to do a little experiment when my bator is free have 8 sf developing now!
Question has anyone bred crosses of these? While I wait on my pullers to mature I was thinking of hatching some eggs from my Roos and flock of different breeds of layers specifically has anyone bred to an Americana I bet that would be a pretty EE!!!
