@wooded acres I also have a breeding group of SFH, as well as @Raven625. Not sure where in NY you are, but there's a few of us here. No, the chicks can't be sexed, but I do raise started pullets per request. They are beautiful chickens! Here's a few of mine:

I'd think both are roos, too! The black one has quite the pink/red comb, and this one's wattles are quite bright also. But, I'm not experienced at telling the genders on the SFH, so hopefully others will answer also.

I'd like to add a few Swedish Flower Hen chicks to my flock, and don't have enough room in the incubator for shipped eggs. The closest person is over 100 miles away, so the gas to travel there to pick up chicks would be as expensive as shipping chicks. I'm going to be incubating eggs from my...
