It's okay if it's a roo- just have to figure out what I want to breed it to to get the desired effect I'm looking for- Dual purpose bird with small comb, black feathers have turquoise and purple sheen, crele-ish if I can manage it, lays nicely colored eggs, good growth rate, broodieness, clean...- laughaha

It was at least 3 months old when I got it (stupid newbie me thought it was a mature bantam hen) and I've had it for probably 3 months. Comb has always looked the same in proportion to body and color. It has grown ALOT since I got it- probably 3 x bigger than it was. So it's gotta be around...- laughaha

if it's a male- what type of hen egg color should I breed it to so that the subsequent chicks lay blue or green eggs? I have white, light brown, brown, and dark brown egg layers. I REALLY want blue or green eggs but DH says no more chickiepoos for awhile and I can't argue with that as I've got...- laughaha
