The Marans eggs were due to hatch today. No pipping or peeping, I held each egg close to my ear and didn't here any peeps or scratching around in the egg. I hope they are just late hatchers...

I have had 30 some broodys this year. 26 of them were bantams and we only have 30 bantams! The others were the Light Brahma, Wyandottes, and a Barred Rock.

I haven't been following this thread as much as I use to but I did get these in the mail today.

I was thinking about ordering some Marans eggs again to try again since my first try failed... But the weather is not cooperateing. 100 degree temps... I'm not takeing no chance on that! But everyones pictures have kept me content for now and I will attempt to incubate Marans eggs this fall or...

Threw the rest of the eggs out! None of them developed except for one egg that died half way in incubation.... The air cells were perfect and packageing was awesome! They weren't scrambled at all either... Any suggestions?
