    Not a single person answered Lots a Cluckin's question about how to "make blue splash", or even told her it was just a description. Everybody just went on as if it was a different color entirely. I don't see why you have to get all offended because somebody else took the time to answer her...

    Iokra- do they have the dark eyes? Did you pay them with Paypal? I wonder if you have the buyer protection. One time I had to open a dispute on some eggs were not the variety I paid for. It wasn't completely obvious until the chicks were a few weeks old. Ebay tried to say it was over 30 days...

    Oh man! I don't know much about the type on the Crele ones, but most of the Lemon Cuckoos I have seen are not the same shape/size as the other UK birds. Perhaps its a similar situation. Maybe somebody that raises the variety can shed some more light on their type.

    They could very well be Orpingtons. Maybe they were made with an outcross and just need another generation or two to get back to type. See what you get out of them.

    He said it was EE. He is the developer of the lavs in the US. (Orpingtons and LF Ameraucanas) I do know of somebody in Georgia with really lovely BBS Orps that lay olive eggs.
