Butterball. 3 months old. She is from the last hatch this Spring. I think she will be the biggest.

Gorgeous Dee ! Look at those WIDE tail coverts with no pepper , and that very black with a green sheen lacing. You're on your way girl. I've not seen better anywhere !

Julie, i was reading on brit web site last night..the people who take care of the royal buffs call them the hippies of the orp world..just takin it easy is how they go..they can be real livley and they can be real slow and take life as it comes..including laid back eating habits ...mine just hang in the pen, as soon as i open the orchard gate, youve never seen a big bird move so fast..you do have to be careful, they gain weight just breathing..mine eat a scant handful of feed in the morning..not sure what they find out in that spring orchard but boy are they full when they come back..

What is really interesting is the girls' top lines. They have great US and English...to their standard...Type. Just look at Butterball ! Love her, and if this color ever gets recognized, she's be at the top. If she shows up missing, you know where to look !

Dee they are very pretty and I really like your butterball. great color.

Lynn I didn't get to move them today but in the morning before I head to work I am going to get them all moved. It was raining here today and we needed it. Mine are all eating like horses. I am going through about 100 lb of chick starter a week. I sure am glad they have it on sell this week. It is going to be hot this week. Today was the last 80 degree weather for a while. I think Wed is going to get to 97 here.
