I have no experience with goose eggs either, but I think I would pip the eggs too. I don't see how it could hurt and might save their life. I am terrible at waiting though, so take it for what it is worth! -

Awww, poor little ones must be shy! Try peeping to them gently to coax them out!! If that don't work, try some loud ROCK & ROLL music, maybe it will wake them up!!
