If the storage and harvest moisture is right, you can pop it like mini pop corn for people. The chickens love it right off the broom. Canes can be used in the garden and for cane fishing poles. pm me your addy.

We lost most of our small crop this year to a massive wind storm. So pressing didn't happen this year. Cut the main stalks and fed to the cattle and saved the broom and seed stalks for chickens and next year's seed.
