Bread and clover this morning. This evening they will be getting some cucumber, fruit, and not sure what else, it will depend on whether I have some scraps or not they can eat.

Mine love watermelon thankfully! It gets HOT here in the summer so it's a great thing for them to get extra hydration from. The first time I gave it to them though, omgosh, it was hilarious, they were all trying to get away from it.

Lol, when they were still really small, I literally shredded the carrots because they wouldn't eat them otherwise. Peas, thankfully they don't feel threatened by those anymore, they were NOT fun to puree lol! Cabbage, forget it, if I didn't cut it up into little pieces they won't touch...

haha! They can be testy little buggers sometimes huh! Mine LOVE pretty much everything, but it HAS to be cut up, picky little boogs won't touch it if it isn't!
Mine had a little bit of leftover meatloaf, broccoli (cooked), grits (from this morning since they can't have potatoes), and a tiny piece of biscuit tonight. I don't normally feed "too heavy" of a treat in the evening, but I had 4 people eating, and leftovers from plates that added together to...
I brought out white rice for their evening snack. They didn't get to enjoy too much of it before the rain hit hard. BUT, I ended up putting one of the plates in the coop (not my normal routine) because I thought it would, so they got a little.
10 pullets and a cockerel. Mine got apples this morning for treat. I cut up 4 small apples and they were served on 2 separate plates since my younger ones get chased away from the treats. Hopefully that will die down as time goes on.

I've had to slow down to give the yard time to restock the clover lol. I was giving them clover every day, but my patches started disappearing, so I slowed down for now. I found a HUGE patch today though and picked some from it. :)
fresh spinach and a little bread for the outdoor chicks today, and fresh spinach and night crawlers for the indoor ones. I gave mine broccoli yesterday but they ignored it.
Question, are tomatoes in small amounts safe?
