1st some mashed taters, then they went crazy for a bowl of SNOW of all things. I was watching them try to peck at the snow hanging off the roof of the run. They went wild over it. I just gave them the peelling from my pot roast veggies that I microwaved.
NC and be careful about the hardboiled egg with the shell on. You don't want to turn them into egg eater so take the shell of and crush it up and break up the egg so it is not identifiable.

Mine Love cooked roast Beef. I froze a bunch of scraps from a dinner at church and am doling it out in small amounts. It is the only time the will sit on my lap or at least one of them.
with rice I just throw a 1/2 cup into a cup of water and microwave for 3min. and let it cool enough so it won't burn them. They like it a lot better than raw. easier for them to eat. I also have this aujus base paste. I just stick the back of the spoon into to coat then mix it into the rice...
Mine can't free range city and all that. They have their layer pellets. Is there such a thing as too much treats. I try to hold back on the cracked corn but what about vegies?
Interesting I broke out the Roast Beef today and no only did I have one on my knee for the first time she even climb onto my shoulder and roosted on my arm. Now if I can only get her to do it out of love of me instead of Roast Beef scraps. Won't get on my knee for cracked corn.
Also have been feeding them some sage and basil. Telling the ones that haven't paid their rent yet that I am pre seasoning them. It is chiclken or omlets for supper tonight their choice.
