    Update: karaokechick & son have come & gone. WONDERFUL folks! Everyone should get a chance to meet them! They left with 5 roos & a hen. Got more than they bargained for. I hope they have a very safe trip home!

    We might get a few inches of snow a year. More ice than snow. I have the peafowl in an outside pen with the north, west, & 1/2 of the east covered in plastic, with a heat lamp hanging they can huddle around. They are taking the cold(20's) very well.
