Well I won't ever again….they had 2 troughs of "pullets" and 2 of "unsexed"…..crazy….and tons left because people won't buy them that way. Years ago when I got my 3 I knew the sex and the breed.

Stopped in today for some feed….not getting chicks….but they are so cute so I looked. Apparently now you get your choice of "pullets" or non sexed Americanas…..what...

Thanks….don't have any just starting to lay…and no production hens like you mentioned. Mine are about 3 years old and this is the longest they've gone without laying. Molting has been over for awhile. The only thing I can think of is they have gone from free ranging to being in a really good...

If I get them whole I'll cut them in quarters leaving the seeds or smash them if they are older…..I also buy raw pumpkin seeds and they love those. At Publix after they cut up their watermelons and cantlopes they give me the rinds for nothing and the chickens love those too.

I'm no expert but it's worked for me and I noticed some of us are having worming troubles.

So sorry Katie1500……I lost my first and favorite girl not long ago. Her name was Oprah and a Dominique, she always sat in my lap, followed me around, took blueberries out of the mouth of my grandson (her parlor trick) without every touching him, and was everyone's favorite. My daughters dog got...
