Thanks, thought there was something there. I worked in a parvo ward many years ago and remember a lot of pitt pups with it.
Well, I know we used to always give Rotties a 4th series of parvo shots at the vet hospital, don't know if it hold true any more though. Been a few years.
and somewhere niggling in the back of my head is something about pitties being more prone, but can't remember the exact details.

Here is a link for ya. I have also seen some nice blue pits breeders have been working on, but a mix to pick up that color would be hard pressed for that blue, it would be rare.
Look up some blue dane breeders, you would be surprised how much he looks like a dane pup, can you feel the pit jaw at the back of his mouth, it is a dominant trait in pit mixes. But look at his jowls as well. He is awfully cute! Also, is his tail thicker at the base? I will try to find the...
