    I am so drooling! What a nice egg! I also am not concerned with the looks of the chickens but would like a darker egg color than what mine are giving and to reply to the next post, how would I go about finding a BCM breeder anywhere near me?

    Out of 4 self hatched BCM I have gotten 3 eggs in 4 days. Each egg is darker than the one before it. I don't think they are from just one hen, but I'm lovin' it! Rinda, I followed your advice and used some of my granddaughters play food containers and it certainly made a difference.

    I'm so happy you found them. It appears that I now need a BCM rooster. You know where will prob have to freeze before I find one near my own's ages. But........I did get a 2nd pullet egg today. Considerable larger and considerably darker. Yahoo! My camera does not do justice to the colors...
