    Ok so my Morans and olive egger all have started laying some beautiful eggs.(Positive) These birds will not roost they all sleep in the corner of the coop (negative) I put new roosts in high medium and low. No change. Does anyone have any other ideas. All my other birds roost no problems.

    I have six Morans around 14 weeks old . None of them go on the roost. Is this some how common to the breed? My 13 week leghorns roost all the time. Any input is appreciated.

    When my morans hatched they had no yellow. There black and white color was more defined .The leg feathering was also black . I don't know what is correct but that's my experience.

    From what I understand white is common my 5,week olds have some but I remember reading it is an undesirable trait.

    Thanks for the info so if I where to breed any of my chicks in the future I should only breed the feathered ones and a feathered mate to create a more dominant gene?

    Hello to you all I hatched a dozen copper morans exactly a month ago . These chicks are growing more rapidly than my leghorns of the same age is this normal for this breed to grow so quickly? Another question is some are feather footed and some are not all eggs where from the same source is this...
